Congratulations to all our rowers who crushed it today 🤜! Special shoutout to our 1st place winners: Andrew in the Men’s Novice Lightweight, Victoria in the Women’s Novice Lightweight and Max in the Men’s Novice Open 🥇. And we can’t forget about our awesome Coxswain Kim who placed 2nd in the Women’s Coxswain 1000m sprint 🥈. This was a great start of the spring season; we are so proud of everyone. Catch us back in Austin, Texas on March 3rd for the Heart of Texas Regatta. #REAUXTIGERS!
All LSU students are invited to come out to Learn to Reaux today at 4:30 p.m. We are located right off of Dalrymple Drive next to the “Chapel on Campus.” Please wear athletic clothing and try to avoid baggy pants, shorts or leggings.
We highly encourage you to get in the boat with experiences rowers. Do not worry, you will not be alone as we are here to guide you! However, if you are not ready for this step feel free to meet the team and see what we are all about! Hope to see you there 😁
LSU UREC’s sport club LSU Rowing invites you to join us for the semesterly Learn to Reaux at our dock! LSU students (undergraduate and graduate) can get the opportunity to be in a rowing shell and familiarize themselves with the equipment.
No experience is required, in fact many talented rowers start in college! Meeting time is at 4:30 p.m. at the “The Chapel on Campus” parking lot where our dock is located. You do not want to miss out trying a new sport! REAUX TIGERS!
