On Monday, DeAnna Williams, 11, of Lynden, won a stuffed Snoopy dog at the Northwest Washington Fair carnival that was so big she could hardly get it on and off the shuttle bus she rode home in mid-afternoon. Williams could only go in the larger front door of the bus, then had to maneuver and shift her bulky prize around seats and obstructions to a seat in the back of the bus with some friends. But she managed to get off with Snoopy at the First Christian Reformed Church lot. (Calvin Bratt/Lynden Tribune)
