Summer Solstice Sail on the Heritage Schooner for a week! One goes sailing to let "Natures Peace flow into them", this particular sailing venture was so fun, so peaceful, the Captains and the Crew safety first, guest centered, interacted with us to show us the beauty in our natural world. The eagles, the osprey, the seals, and many other beautiful creatures living around and in the ocean. They showed us beautiful lighthouses, discussed the history of the area, and told fascinating stories. The food was absolutely delicious! The crew is multi talented, they play instruments, sing, cook, keep us safe, amazing trip. Thank you, Linda & Doug, and the entire crew! Also, we had WIND! Great Sailing! The Art of Being! See More

I'll try not to be too effusive but this was an amazing experience I cannot recommend highly enough. To have some of the luxuries of a leisure cruise (amazing food, good company, gorgeous landscape, p...rofessional and friendly crew) along with some more rustic qualities (unplugged atmosphere, education and hands on training by experienced sailors) was, for me, a completely new and welcome experience.
My 3 day trip through coastal Maine aboard the Mercantile was a perfect mix of relaxation, comfort and brand new experiences. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I've sailed on the Maine windjammers since 1980 and enjoyed them all. Victory Chimes, Angelique and Mary Day (under previous captains) and currently with schooner American Eagle. Love Capt. Foss's ext...ended trips on the Eagle and the opportunity to visit places beyond the always lovely Penobscot, Jericho and Blue Hill bays. Great crews, interesting guests, tasty home cooked meals and a chance to get away from the demands of the office. Great fun for those who don't mind lending a hand getting sail on, a bit of salt spray in the face or getting sunburned. See More

We did a cruise aboard the Grace Bailey in October 2008. I would love to do it again. We had so much fun!

Sailed twice. Love The Mercantile. Looking forward to another.
Many thanks to our friends at Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse for providing tours during the Parade on Friday. Here's a little clip shot from the tower...wish we could have gotten some footage from that helicopter!
Here's a sample of what guests will hear if they sign up for the Irish Music Cruise aboard the Victory Chimes this July. Sounds like fun!
What a fun afternoon watching all of the windjammers make their entrance at the Camden Windjammer Festival!

The crew of The Schooner Heritage is all here, from as far away as London, and hard at work getting ready for the season.
