Thank you for an awesome day of music, teaching, testifying, and solidarity at the Juneteenth event. The space is welcoming and lively. I hope our community and the City will support venues like this.

Denied artists of colour a platform to showcase their work. Made it her way or the highway. This is not how you support minorities in your community.

Wake-up! Wake-up! Wake-up! The Alachua County "educational system" is failing and absolutely horrible for our BLACK CHILDREN!!! This is the result of a SEGREGAT...ED CITY! NO REAL EDUCATION from PUBLIC SCHOOLS? Well, be prepared for MORE PRISONS=MORE CHAIN GANGS!!! Several Task Force members met with our Assistant Supertendent, Donna Jones and our Equity Leader, Valerie Freeman on Rosa Parks Day, December 1st. Good news? Bad news? No news? We will provide a community report. We are waiting for the minutes from Donna Jones and Valerie freeman. The other MAJOR PROBLEM is the white supremacists(racist) thinking and actions from most of the school board members(more on that situation). Parents, guardians, students, join us. Hope to yall at the next school board meeting. Peace. Love. Justice.

Today, today, today the "Party for Progress" event begins at 5pm. I will be there at 4pm to socialize with a few folks. Unfortunately, I will leave the "Party for Progress" at 6:30pm because I have a radio interview(7pm-8pm) with Laurie Riesman,(WMBT-90.1fm). Her show, "Music, Medicine, Live and Direct". I have a few comments on CRA, our local candidates, gentrification, Porters Quarters, SugarHill, white supremacy thoughts and actions of the school board members, goodbye "ole joe", Confederate Soldier statue and the re-naming of J.J. Finley(Confederate slave-owner) to Dr. Mary Mcleod Bethune and...Call-in,352-505-5579, be part of the discussion-325-505-5579. More power to More people!
