To welcome in the school holidays (and to keep you entertained during this lockdown/rāhui) we will he doing a #marinemetresquared 🔤 To start off... A is for APPLICATION.
Mm2 is a tool that can be used to help answer any question or look at any environment - it’s very adaptable to whatever you’re interested in! An example of this is the Sediments and Seashores project that was run in the Otago Harbour from 2016-2018 (with support from University of Otago , New Zealand Marine Studies Centre and Curious Minds NZ) which used Mm2 to monitor the rocky shore in regards to the dredging activity happening in the harbour.
