"Material Evidence: Iraq, Afghanistan" starts 19/03 in Brussels

In total NATO operations in the Middle East lasted 20 years, during this time, civilian casualties from military operations in Afghanistan exceeded 30 000 and 200 000 in Iraq. Many cities were ruined, infrastructure was destroyed, the number of refugees who have fled their homes close to several million. The results of war are ambiguous, but its consequences became disastrous for the whole region. When "Operation Iraqi Freedom" was completed, fighters of radical organizations ISIL and Al-Qaeda began to spread into the country bringing death and terror to civilians again.

The exhibition is devoted to NATO operations in the Middle East, prerequisites for the results of these wars which turned into unmanaged «smoldering conflicts». It tells about the situation of civilians who became a bargaining chip in the struggle for power. If you are worry about fate of these people, invite your friends to our group and tell them about this project!
