Defense Sequester Information Tour: Albany
Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) joined Senator Saxby Chambliss, Senator Johnny Isakson, Major General David Bockel, and the Albany Chamber of Commerce in discussing the possible impact of the defense sequester on the surrounding communities in Albany. After meeting with Georgia National Guard and Marine Corps Logistics Base leadership, public forums were held to discuss the potential impact of sequestration on the greater metro area.
