Defense Sequester Information Tour: Columbus
Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) joined Senator Saxby Chambliss, Senator Johnny Isakson, Major General David Bockel, and the Columbus Chamber of Commerce in discussing the possible impact of the defense sequester on the surrounding communities in Columbus. After meeting with Georgia National Guard and Fort Benning leadership, public forums were held to discuss the potential impact of sequestration on the greater metro area.
