As an ex Indifatigable boy sailor, it was wonderful to come and visit the ships restored Figure Head, ( top floor, outside the canteen). The rest of the Museum ...is brilliant and the staff most courteous and helpful. I had 23 years at sea commencing in Liverpool, therefore the museum was like returning home. Thank you so much. We absolutely loved the museum well worth a visit and it's free.
However the food in the dining room was cold and not very nice had run out of lots of food on the menu

Only came for food, took half an hour for the order to be taken then another 30 minutes for food to arrive (Pasta and a sandwich) then as we were now in a rush asked for the children's puddings, 20 minutes later they still hadn't arrived poor poor service

Me and my family visited the museum today and had a wonderful time. Dave who was running the pirate themed craft workshop and Emma who did the pirate themed show were fantastic with the children. Really recommend this place for a wonderful family day out! Thank you! X

The Titanic display was very interesting and we learnt a lot. We originally went in to look at the slavery display but there was nothing or no one there to guid...e you. We hadn't a clue where to look or what to do first.
We would say this attraction is average and we more than likely will not go back!

Today I was given a guided tour of Liverpool's first wet dock. It was a wonderful education, comprehensively informative delivered with typically scouse humour.... Its only an hour, it's free and gives everyone the opportunity to understand the foundation upon which Liverpool's wealth was built. Moreover the architectural features and surrounding landscape references elements from the past and these are explained in a way which fascinates the listener. Go discover. Thanks guy(de)s! See More

Really enjoyed my visit. The guide who walked us through the Titanic exhibit was excellent and I learnt quite a bit which surprised me because I do watch lots o...f programmes about it. I liked the Lucitania exhibit too. Could spend hours there and it's FREE though hopefully most people will make a donation. See More

The museum itself is great, a good place to take the kids to learn about past and present and my son enjoyed doing research for his homework. The cafe and restaurant are not that great. The cafe had minimal choice. It could be so much better. But note of an effort could be made there

Very interesting and informative guided tour around the Titanic Exhibition yesterday!
A look around the 'Seized' exhibition which covers the work, past and pre...sent, of the Customs & Excise people.
A nice little cafe with homemade cakes, delicious coffee and seating indoors or out.
An unexpected bonus - Chinese Dragons dancing to celebrate the New Year.
All in all, a great day out!

Excellent place to visit. Spent a good few hours here wandering around. All the exhibitions were interesting. Not enough time in the day to study all of it lol. Definitely will be back.

A fabulous very moving museum with so much information & so many artefacts. It's fun & made interesting for young visitors who can do a quiz as they go round. Y...ou need more than one visit to see it all. Well worth a visit & theres a spacious cafe to cuppa & bite to eat afterward strolling round. See More

Great experience all around however the Titanic Exhibition was spoiled by pale green lettering on white background on the individual exhibit detailed notices which made it very very difficult to read. Whoever sanctioned this did not have a field test in the actual Museum lighting.

Everyone at the Maritime Museum was so brilliant. I was volunteering for Light Night Liverpool. And I thought people were so helpful and couldn't do enough for me. Sarah was such a star. So enjoyed my experience.
