The Mystery Shop performed three interactive mystery programs for the library yesterday: two for kids and one for teens. We had a blast! Thanks for asking us.

Black Friday at the Library!
Children had a lot of fun trick-or-treating around the library today!
Coming June 27th: OneClickDigital audiobooks, ebooks and Zinio magazines will all be accessed through one easy-to-use app! When you log into your old apps, you will be prompted to update.

FY2019 Budget Eliminates Library Funding
On Monday, February 12, the White House released the budget proposal for FY 2019. The proposal eliminates funding for the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). IMLS provides more than $183.6 million for libraries through the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). The proposal also eliminates funding for the Innovative Approaches to Literacy program, a Department of Education program that provides $27 million for school libraries. Ultimately, Congress has final say over the budget. Let Congress know that federal library funding is important to you and your community. Use the talking points on or visit

Thanks to everyone who braved the cold this morning to attend Art Club for Grownups. We had fun learning the cultural significance of dream catchers. As you can see, each one had it's own artistic flair!

The library will be open during MLK Day, Monday, January 15th from 9 am to 9 pm. We have materials available to help you honor Martin Luther King Jr. and the civil rights movement.
