I have been involved with Metaburn on and off for 3 years. I focus on my goals during the winter months when I have more time to focus on myself. Every 12 week session I have done, I have met my goals.... The owners and trainers are great and help me keep motivated. The nutritional information and plans are great, they are not a diet they have become a way of life! See More

Meta-Burn was fantastic! I was looking for a program combining nutrition and personal training, specifically something that would remove the guesswork entirely so I could get in shape and lose weight.... The program showed me how to eat clean and healthy food, no counting calories or going hungry. And Matt is a fantastic trainer and all-around good guy, even though he kicked my butt! I lost more than 25 lbs and feel great. It really was almost easy! See More

What can I say other than I am at my 8th week of the program and already 25lbs down! This is the best decision I have ever made! I have an awesome trainer (Haley Sato), a team of experts in my fingert...ips ready to help me with advise any time of the day AND I can bring my 11 month old baby to my sessions. After years of struggling with my weight and trying to find a workout that I actually enjoyed doing, Coach Rahz and his team came into my life. I'm so happy I clicked on the link for the Little Black ...Dress challenge! I finished my 6 week program, dropped 20 lbs (and a clothing size) and feel amazing. And it's not over yet! Coach Shawn in Mineola is awesome. He keeps my workouts challenging and I always feel so accomplished at the end of each session. I can't believe how far I've come. Coach Rahz is so motivating and inspiring and just makes me want to keep challenging myself. And no workout is complete without good nutrition, which is what makes this program so great. Seven Things That High Achievers Don’t Do

What is a high achiever? Is it someone who accomplishes many goals? Is it someone who works harder than anyone else? It turns out, high achievers are simply those who frame their lives with a different mindset and, in return, gain significant accomplishments. High achievers have a strong desire to accomplish something important.

Then they get gratification from success in demanding tasks. They are willing to work towards their goals ...for a long period of time, something often referred to as “grit.” Low achievers, however, are failure-avoiding individuals. That is, they are more worried about protecting themselves from embarrassment and give up very quickly.

They may procrastinate, give less than their best effort, or engage in other self-sabotaging behaviors to avoid the responsibility of failure.

So what can you do to shift your thinking and become a high achiever? Below are 7 strategies. These are 7 things that high achievers DON’T do so that you can avoid the same:
1) They don’t waste time focusing on set-backs; instead they turn those set-backs into come-backs
2) They don’t shy away from change. Anything that grows goes through change.
3) They do not try to please everyone; stand for something

4) They don’t allow people to screw with them more than once
5) They don’t see failure as defeat; instead, it is feedback
6) They don’t mind standing out
7) They don’t fear hard work

The best method for helping you to achieve is to schedule it. Put your goals in writing because it helps manifest them and keeps you on track.
