My beloved '71 LP Custom and a cool little Mexican Tele. And the spice rack!
Lots of tubes! '64 Fender Princeton, '73 Marshall JMP 50w, '91 Demeter TGA-3 and a lovely '72 Traynor YBA-2.
1964 pre-CBS Fender Princeton. I bought this for $200 when I was a kid (it was pretty old then) and had the good sense to hang onto it. People have offered me thousands in the years since. That'll never happen!
An ancient little solid state Wilson amp with an 8" speaker. The sound of cardboard blowing up. I hit the front end hard with an HBE Germania 44 treble booster and a Wren & Cuff Tall Font Russian fuzz. The tiny little thing sounded monstrous in the track.
What a beast this thing is! 1955 Premier combo. Loads of presence, warmth and chunk. "Malcolm Young" rhythm sound for days. A great texture to pan opposite an overdriven Marshall when doubling parts for a "wall of guitars" sound.
'91 Eric Czechanski (Eric's Guitar Shop) custom-built Melody Maker with Sunrise single coils neck & center and a splittable Tom Anderson #3 humbucker in back.
Custom Lamar oversized 2x12 slant cab loaded with Scumback H55's. Massive chunk and thump.

A treat to have played guitars on this new release by Mary Lambert ("Same Love" singer). Beautiful production & strings by Eric Rosse. Great song from a lovely new artist with a lot of heart. Crazy-good rhythm section too... Mark Browne and Matt Chamberlain. Acoustic guitars enter at 1:55, electrics at 2:40

Putting the toys to work, making loud noises.

Such a joy to work with my brother. In bands together since we were kids, each working on albums, tv and film soundtracks throughout our adult lives and raising families of our own now. Awesome hang today. The man's a fookin' genius!
