In addition to aQuarius recOrds #vinyl of the record I made w/ Eric Andrew Kuhn is now available at Other Avenues Grocery, the best place by the beach in SF to get farm fresh produce + brilliant music. THANK YOU Colin Jensen Peden ...Non SF residents can find it on ITUNES. YES!

This Show will be a nice outing out of the city. Quaint, historical place. All the bands are good. Winnie Cooper might be there. She's good at math. Garter snakes are communal. Railroad engineer outfit and old timey peter rabbit tea set. thank you.

#Vinyl of #ThereisNoNeedtoNametheMoon is available at Aquarius Records, a prestigious and discerning shop that somehow saw something in this Baltimore ruffian. Here's their review of my first record. Yeah Cinematic Pop Glory:

"We get so ...many records submitted to us for consideration, and like we've said before we really do listen to everything that comes our way (though it does sometimes take us forever!) and it's always worth it because of gems like this. We haven't heard a pop record with this much ambition, depth and dynamic range of sound in a long, long time. Michael Musika has a really unique approach to crafting not only songs but an overall feeling that flows throughout the album. With interludes filled with beautiful bells and dreamy vibes which cast an interesting spell, and then proper songs which tap into a side of quirky, orchestral pop that you just don't hear done that often or this well, these days. Taking elements of Emmit Rhodes, Biff Rose, and Van Dyke Parks, San Francisco's Micheal Musika has created his own world of cinematic pop glory."

I will be playing a brief opening set at the rickshaw stop this evening for the os beaches farewell. I'm playing all alone and one song that's very curious even more so than the others.
Hey everyone, thanks for coming to the show last Friday and having fun with us. We got some video and that I'll share by and by. It was maybe the best show evers. Time now to start dreaming up what's next I guess. Good morning to you.
