Hope you are doing well.
Thank you so much for your support in the journey for the 51st Assembly District in neighborhoods and communities that I grew up and worked in for many years....
Although the outcome is not what we had hoped, I will continue to support and fight for the communities of the Northeast/Eastside and fight for the progressive values in the State.
I am proud of our hard fought campaign. We ran a positive campaign and fought hard for every vote. Many new people were engaged in the democratic process along this journey. We registered hundreds of new voters. On Election Day, a volunteer drove a 90 year old Glassell Park resident who had not voted in many years to the poll.
Thank you so much to volunteers who contributed countless hours knocking on doors and making calls to get our message out to the voters of the District.
Thank you so much to friends and community leaders for opening up their homes for meet/greets and events. Thank you so much for hosting and attending events. We had nearly 20 events in a short 3 month timeframe.
Thank you to all the candidates for their service and leadership. I wish them the very best in their continued efforts and service to the community.
Thank you so much to an amazing campaign team for their leadership and efforts. Thank you so much Jose, Derek, Michael, Xochitl, Tom, Morgan, Evelyn, Andrew, field team, Melahat, Kat, Theresa, and many others who worked hard each and every day to engage stakeholders of the 51st Assembly District.
I would also like to thank my family for their love and support in this journey. They worked hard reaching out to friends and neighbors in the community, kept our campaign fueled with good food, made calls, and drove people to the polls.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much again for your friendship and support in this journey. I will be always here to serve and help connect people in the community. Let's continue our journey in public service together.
Best wishes and keep up the great leadership in the community!

Paying for college shouldn't be a burden for families in California, but tuition is increasingly out of reach for too many students. I am running for State Assembly to change that. Please take a moment to review my plan for free community college, and let me know what you think. Thank you!

LA Councilmember David Ryu has just endorsed my campaign! Thank you, Councilmember, for your service to the people of Los Angeles and for your friendship.
“Mike Fong’s record of community leadership, which includes important roles at city hall and on our college board, makes him an ideal candidate to represent Los Angeles in the state legislature." - Councilmember David Ryu
I want to thank everyone who came to our #Campaign Kick-off today!
First I want to thank my mother and my 90 year old grandmother for coming. I also want to thank Los Angeles Councilmember David E. Ryu, Councilmember Curren D. Price, Jr. and the many elected officials and community leaders who made time in their busy schedule to come and support our campaign.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you! Let's win on October 3rd!
