Please do not feel ashamed of learning ideas from other cities. There is nothing to be ashamed of when comes to improving the city and make Melbourne a better place to live in.
- Public transportation. If you need ideas on this, all of us, victorians, will help you.
- Street crimes. We all hate this but we will all stand up to reduce/eliminate this problem.
- Airport railway. Cost lots of money? Yes but it is a long-term investment. It will bring a lot of good to the city. But remember, to do it perfectly at first.
- Myki. I love the Myki idea. However, it is insensitive to the scanning system. Why can it not be like Singapore's? It is fast and efficient. What is the problem that we have, when we first bought this system? We need to get the technology from a better country. Not re-inventing the wheel, and please do not introduce another smart card system. It is already bad at the start.
