In writing chapters of a genealogical memoir, I'm able to knit pieces of information together that give me new insights. The process is also reconnecting me to cousins from first to third. I'm so excited about this that I want to offer an online class in memoir. My essays have appeared or are forthcoming in The Manifest-Station, South 85, Poor Yorick, The Smart Set, Jewish Literary Journal, and other publications. Who's interested?
My new essay, "The Butterflies of Zaromb," went live today at South 85 literary journal. http://south85journal.com/…/non-fict…/butterflies-of-zaromb/
