We started with a gaming mouse and could have stayed a gaming peripherals company, but we decided to design and make gaming laptops.

And we could have stopped as a gaming hardware company, but we decided to go on and develop gaming software and applications that millions of gamers use on a daily basis.

It's hard to pin down exactly what kind of company we are - we're both hardware and software, both design and an incredibly large user base with millions of active users.

...

So what are we? Simply put, we're a company of gamers that makes stuff for gamers like ourselves. Doesn't get any simpler than that.

And that's who we are - For Gamers. By Gamers.

While I spend most of my time out of Singapore, I still identify myself as Singaporean born in many ways. And while this little red dot is still often overlooked by many, I'm incredibly proud of how it has grown in the past few years.

Having living outside of Singapore has changed me in many aspects; I'm acutely aware of how well we do today as a country, and at the same time, incredibly mindful of how we can potentially become complacent as a nation.

While I'll be the firs...t to stand up and be proud of what we've done as a nation, I'll also do my duty to stand up and speak my mind, without fear or favor, about how we can continue to keep our edge in this global competitive world.

And that's how we will keep growing, by always appreciating how our forefathers, the government, the civil service and most importantly, the people - the Singaporeans, who have guided our nation to be truly prosperous, safe and secure in these times of uncertainty. And at the same time, we have to always keep pushing the envelope, keep things on the edge and moving forward one step at a time.

Singapore has changed so much in the past 51 years, and it continues do so, and I hope it will continue to evolve. Today, I don't think of what Singapore can do for me, but what I can do for Singapore and the people of the country.

And it's with these thoughts I think of Singapore - on our National Day, the 9th of August.

Happy 51st National Day, Singapore. Majulah Singapura!

So I got some feedback that some of you were offended by my language in the FB Live video I did earlier - seriously guys - everyone knows I swear - the fans on this page, the team members at Razer, everyone I've played on a server with (especially when I'm not winning) and my family.

While I'm sure most professional CEOs etc don't swear etc - but I've never pretended to be a professional CEO role model type.

Live now showing off RazerGo!
