Locate The Missing Update Great news! Prayers Answered! Missing 4-year-old South Carolina girl found alive in Alabama in car with suspected kidnapper asleep at the wheel!

A missing South Carolina 4-year-old girl who'd been missing for a day has been found safe, and her abductor is now in custody.

Riverside, Alabama Mayor Rusty Jessup confirmed Heidi Renae Todd of Charleston was found late Wednesday afternoon in his city, which is just off Interstate 20 about 40 miles from... Birmingham.

Hours later, her kidnapper, 37-year-old Thomas Lawton Evans, was caught in Mississippi.

"We give the glory and our thanks that all prayers have been answered, and that Heidi Todd is safe in the hands of the FBI," said Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg said at a news conference Wednesday night where he also said that the girl had been located.

Jessup says she was found after there was a report of a suspicious car in the woods behind Riverside's City Hall. That city's mayor says the fire chief checked it out, and found her kidnapper, Evans, asleep in the vehicle. Riverside Police Chief Rick Oliver was called to the scene, and there was then a heated exchange between Evans and the other men.

At that point, the suspect gave the little girl to the police chief, telling them he had to get his ID from the car. Evans then jumped into the vehicle and sped off, Jessup said.

#DoTheRightThing $15,000.00 Reward! Do You Know Who I Am? *Suspected Homicide Victim* Police Seeking Help Identifying Body Of Abused Child Found Dead On Beach! Please re-post!

This is how this works. I post this, you re-post it no matter where you live because he could be from anywhere, your friends re-post it, their friends re-post it and i...t just keeps going until it reaches the right person who has that information to identify this boy! Let's get to work! Thanks for your help!

On October 20, 2017 Police in #Galveston, #Texas recovered the body of a male child on the beach near the 700 block of Seawall Blvd. When found, the child was in the water, near the shoreline and was found unclothed.

The child is described as approximately 3 to 5 years old, about 3’ tall with a slender build, black hair, and brown eyes.

We are asking everyone to please take a look at this child and see if you recognize him.

It is believed that “Little Jacob” died around October 17 or 18. Based on reverse drift analyses conducted by the US Coast Guard and the National Weather Service, it is believed that Little Jacob’s body was put into the water locally, in the Galveston County area. Information obtained at autopsy also shows that Little Jacob was deceased prior to going into the water, and that he did not die as a result of drowning.

The child’s body appeared to have been in the water between 12-48 hours and autopsy results indicate that prior to his death, Little Jacob showed signs of neglect and injuries consistent with abuse; however, none of the injuries appeared to have been fatal.

At this time a cause of death has yet to be determined but police will continue to treat this case as a homicide until it can otherwise be ruled out. Further investigation is needed to find out what happened to “Little Jacob,” and the first, and most crucial step in that investigation is identifying him.

In an effort to exhaust all possible routes to identify “Little Jacob,” the Galveston Police Department is now releasing a photograph of the boy in hopes that someone seeing the true likeness of the child will confirm their suspicions that they know who this is and that they can help us identify him and the circumstances surrounding his death.

Someone, somewhere knows this child and can help identify him. The #FBI is offering a $10,000 reward in addition to a $5,000 reward being offered by Crime Stoppers for the successful identification and location of the family members caring for this young boy at the time of his disappearance. If you have any information regarding the identity or circumstances surrounding the death of “Little Jacob,” please call 1-800-CALL-FBI.

Locate The Missing Update Investigators believe they have discovered the body of 4-year-old Raul Gonzalez Johnson, and say he may have accidentally drowned in a pond near his Scotland County home.

“At this time it appears to be accidental,” Scotland County Sheriff Ralph E. Kersey said at a press conference Saturday evening. “We will continue the investigation until we have the answers to what happened to this little boy.”

Kersey asked Scotland County to do what it does bes...t at times like this: “Come together.”

“I just don’t know what to feel,” Kersey said. “We were hoping for the best, and that’s just not what happened here.”

The FBI announced a body was found about 3 p.m. Saturday, at the time a press briefing was to be held. The body, discovered about 1:45 p.m. in a pond off Peabridge Road in Laurinburg, still needs to be examined to confirm the identity and cause of death, the statement said.

Locate The Missing Update The body of 39-year-old Adria J. Hatten has apparently been located.

Hatten was last seen at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 21, in Wood River, and
What appears to be her body was found close to Horseshoe Lake in a brush area.

...

The body was found about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, approximately 1.4 miles away from her vehicle near Big Bend Road. The case investigation is now for a suspicious death.

"This is not the outcome we had hoped for," a representative of the Madison County Sheriff's Office said. "With a lot of departments here, we did a lot of searching. We found an article last night, which led us in a different direction. With that new information, we modified our search."

According to police,"everything indicates she was by herself." Police confirmed pieces of clothing related to her and empty pill bottles were discovered through a search last Saturday. Police would not comment regarding the type of pills found, but stated they were close to her vehicle, but not her body.

Her body was identified through tattoos.

This is the latest on the situation from Capt. Mike Dixon of the Madison County Sheriff's Office:

At 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018, Madison County Sheriff’s Office Officials, being aided by the Illinois State Police Air Patrol, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, the St. Clair Special Emergency Services Canine Division, and 15 members of the ILEAS Mobile Field Force located a deceased female in a secluded wooded area, inside Horseshoe Lake State Park.

Previous searches have been directed around her vehicle, but her body was located outside the usual search parameters by a fixed-wing aircraft from the Illinois State Police.

Police said the location is remote, adding there are thousands of acres of wilderness and farm fields.

The female has tentatively been identified as the previously reported missing person:

The investigation into Hatten’s death is active and ongoing. An official cause of death is unknown at this point, with an autopsy pending, Capt. Dixon said.

Police are not releasing details regarding future investigations into the matter, adding "obviously, it was a suspicious death."

While there is no immediate indication of murder at this time, police said the death is suspicious because of the location of her vehicle in a muddy field. At a press conference, police said "there is no reason to suspect foul play," but added that my change following an autopsy.

An autopsy is scheduled to be performed Tuesday, a preliminary report may be available from a coroner's office Tuesday afternoon, but toxicology results may take weeks.

Police are still searching for answers regarding Hatten's disappearance, which is believed to have been some time on Sunday. The Madison County Sheriff's Office can be reached at (618) 692-6087.
