The winner of the upcoming Miss Venezuela 2018 pageant will represent the powerhouse country in Miss World 2018!
The Miss World Organization has reportedly demanded that the Venezuelan representative for the 68th edition of Miss World must be selected in an exclusive and separate pageant of Miss Venezuela, which must be held in the same year of the international pageant. Veruska Ljubisavljevic, who was crowned as Miss Venezuela Mundo on November 9, 2017 will no longer be comp...eting in the international pageant.
However, the Miss Venezuela Organization has confirmed that Sthefany Gutiérrez and Marien Velazco will remain as the country's representatives to the upcoming Miss Universe and Miss International beauty pageants.
Next year, the MVO will be holding two independent editions of the Miss Venezuela pageant: one to select the Venezuelan representative at Miss World and the second one to choose the representatives at Miss Universe and Miss International.
