I did some more car shopping this morning. These 2 new vehicles are in the $16-18,000 price range. One of the dealerships had a 2004 Jeep Compass for $13,000. Only $3,000 difference between brand new and 14 years old. Cars do not depreciate rapidly, here. For that reason, I believe it makes sense for me to save and raise funds to purchase a new car. I have $10,500 saved/raised so far. Please pray about helping me purchase a new vehicle, which is a very important tool in my ministry.
It has been raining everyday for 2 weeks, causing flooding and landslides in several parts of Bolivia. Please pray especially for the city of Tupiza where Dennis and Jan Horn are serving. The flooding there is very bad. Neighborhoods have been destroyed, houses and roofs collapsing, and the river is still rising.
Doing some car shopping today. Used cars are very expensive, so on the advice of a friend, I decided to look into some new car options. This is the Suzuki Ignis. The 2 versions shown range from $16,500 to $17,750. As of now, I have $10,000 available for a car. This would be a great option if I can raise the additional funds. Please pray with me about this decision. If you’d like to help out financially, donations can be made through your church or at https://donate.bbfimissions.com/Donate.aspx
This sweet family passed by on a motorcycle and stopped to help us out. They even took us by their house afterward so we could wash off some.
