Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes...
Total Time: 40 minutes
Makes: 10

Ingredients:

1 pkg (7.5 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough

3/4 cup seedless raspberry jam

1 cup Triple Chocolate M&M’s, divided

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 1/2 cups icing sugar

3 tbsp milk (approx.) 2 tbsp butter, melted

1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.

2. Using rolling pin, roll out each biscuit round into 5-inch circle. Cut four slits in each round to create quadrants, leaving center intact. Spoon 1 tbsp jam into center of each round. Add 1 tbsp M&M’s to center of each bun.

3. Lift one quadrant of dough up and twist around M&M’s. Lift second quadrant up, twisting slightly and attaching to the first quadrant. Repeat with remaining quadrants, pressing and pinching to secure dough, to resemble petals and create a “rose.” Arrange each bun in muffin cup; brush tops with egg.

4. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool in pan for 5 minutes. Transfer to rack; let cool completely.

5. Whisk together icing sugar, milk, melted butter and vanilla until smooth and syrupy, adding extra milk if necessary. Brush glaze over buns; fill buns with remaining M&M’s. Let stand until set.

Tips: • Bake these buns first thing in the morning to enjoy the same day. • Use a thick, good-quality jam to ensure it doesn’t run or scorch during baking. • Also delicious with orange marmalade, or red currant or blueberry jam.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Total Time: 40 minutes

Makes: 16

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 egg

2 tbsp milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 cup coarse pink sugar

1 cup Milk Chocolate M&M’s, Valentine’s Day Blend

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Using electric mixer on medium-high speed, beat together butter, granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in egg; stir in milk and vanilla.

2. In separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder and salt; beat into butter mixture, on low speed, until dough comes together.

3. Roll dough into 3/4-inch balls (each about .75 oz). Arrange balls (two per cookie) so that they are touching on one side, about 2 inches apart, on parchment paper–lined baking sheets. Press thumb into each ball to create elongated diagonal indentation; form the bottom of each cookie to create heart shape.

4. Sprinkle each cookie with pink sugar. Arrange M&M’s inside indentations.

5. Bake, in batches, for 7 to 9 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let cool on baking sheet for 1 minute. Transfer to rack; let cool completely.

Tips:

• Roll enough cookies for one baking sheet; while it’s in the oven, work on rolling and shaping the remaining dough.

• Add 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon or cardamom for a warm spice flavor if desired.

• For homemade pink sugar, add a few drops of red food coloring to granulated sugar.
