I can't find a specific restaurant page on which to leave this review, so will post it here: The former Pyramid Taproom at Schonely's Place is now Schonely's 10 Barrel Taproom. I don't know if it's th...e change of ownership, a busy Saturday night, our particular server, or what, but things have gone downhill in a hurry from our previous visits. We waited 15 minutes to have our order taken and another 25 minutes for our food. We can no longer recommend and won't be back ... See More

The Moda Center does not treat their guests very well. If you happen to arrive early for a show, even if there is a monsoon outside and you have small children, they won't let you in and there is nowh...ere to find cover. All restaurants are closed, and there is one building open with 2,000 waiting to use one unisex bathroom. Poor, poor, poor. Time to invest in some covered areas for people. It's oregon, it rains 3/4 of the year. Won't even let large umbrellas inside. See More

I usually don't have a problem at the Mods Center but tonight the seating host in section 115 informed me that I couldn't hold up my signs during the show! But people all over the arena were also hol...ding up signs but she told me in her section people couldn't hold up signs because of cameras! Isn't that the objective of bringing a sign is to get on camera! I wanted to know if this is regular rules or not! See More

Arrive TWO HOURS EARLY if you wish to find parking and still get inside before your event starts. We attended the Hits Deep Tour on the 17th of Feb. It took an hour just to get off the freeway off r...amp to the Moda Center. Once we finally got there (at the event start time), we quickly found there was absolutely NO parking available anywhere around or at the center. Every parking garage was reserved for those who had a 'pass'. No idea a 'pass' was even available - no mention of it when purchasing our tickets online. Parking garage staff advised we would have to drive back out to the Lloyd Center mall to park and ride the public transit train back on down to the Moda Center. We ended up arriving at the concert an hour and half late, simply because of parking issues. Very unpleasant experience with Moda Center. I have never encountered anything like this in the past, and I have attended quit a few events at the Moda Center. Horrible ! See More

I am still waiting in line to park in a garage I pre-paid for...... it's been over an hour!!! Get it together Moda center, it's not your first event. There has got to be a better way to get people parked!

Your "outside" events SUCK. They are too fucking loud and disturb people who live in the area. It is POSSIBLE that your music MIGHT have been good, but your sound-man is a fucking idiot that thinks ...that everything is a Disco Rave for stoned idiots. This includes the El Grito fiesta, and the Taste of Portland fiasco Turn the shit down. NOBODY is dancing. Grow the fuck up and be a responsible neighbor. See More

The concert was great.

However, the Moda staff need a bit more training. We asked 3 different ushers which stadium entrance lead down to the floor seats and none of them knew....
Also, the security and alcohol policies could be better.

The floor seat area was filled with patrons dancing in the aisles, knocking into people, standing on chairs, etc. Several of these concert patrons were so drunk they could barely walk, or falling down in the stairs up the sides, yet kept coming back to their seats with fresh beers so they were clearly being served still.
The ushers who did actually try to keep these people somewhat under control were way outnumbered and would have benefited from more actual security guards to help.

There was also, not surprisingly, several whiffs of pot smoke throughout the duration of the concert.

Discrimination against mothers with babies! Security would not let us bring our diaper bag in along with about 7 other mom’s we saw turned away. Diaper bag sizes are pretty standard. All contents chec...ked and cleared but still denied entry See More

The show was awesome!!! We went to go to our seats and my husband is disabled and we discovered there was no way he was going to be able to get to his seat on his crutches. We turned back in the tunne...l and ran into an employee and explained our situation to him. He opened up a wheel chair for my husband and took us down to the box office. We went up to the window and he explained our situation to them and they immediately exchanged our seats for us no questions asked and no additional money to be paid. He took us right to our seats and asked us if we needed anything else. We told him no and and thanked him for all of his help. This was the very first time my husband had ever been to a concert and they made it an even better experience for jim. See More

I arrived a bit late for the Tessa/Poison/DefLeppard concert. I was told their was no parking in the garages onsite but was admitted because of my handicapped placard. There were many, many spots avai...lable in the garage. At least 20 on level 2 and I'm sure many more on the levels above yet the sign said full. I paid $20 to park. I would think they could reduce that price if they filled the spaces? I was actually shocked it was that much.
I got inside and stood in a 15 minute line for a $12 beer. $12 for a flat pilsner. Then I finally found my seat.
I saw about 2/3 of Poison's set and all of Def Leppard. I will say I have been to numerous rock concerts and this is hands down the absolute worst sound.
It was distorted to the point of being intelligible. Ear splitting, loud, distorted. Not rock music loud mind you- but just horrible, distorted like the sound system is faulty distorted and bad.
The venue is nice. The seats were fine. The beer was over priced but it was cold.
I will never choose to pay to see a concert there again. Just poor sound quality.

Seats are horrible and not made for bigger people no room to dance around and the stairs make you feel like your gonna fall with how steep they are and not to mention how over price everything is

Traveled from Idaho to see this concert. Got to do a meet and greet with Def Leppard which was fantastic in itself. However, the process for entry for the VIP was very unorganized. After the Leppard V...IP was already starting to be let in, they had the Poison VIP cross through our line to a door on the other side. This caused some minor confusion.

The seat location was great, but the seats on the floor are way too crammed in there. I've been to several concerts and have sat on thr floor and never have I felt so shoved in together. I was rubbing shoulders, literally, with the people on either side of me.

The sound was decent. Being four rows back, it wasn't too horribly distorted. However, that was only tru for Tesla and most of Poison. Def Leppard continually became more and more distorted and the bass was way too heavy.

Lastly, the prices. Are you serious? Of all the places I've seen concerts, I have only paid $12 for a beer, once. Most places are $5, maybe $7. I ended up only getting one cause of the ridiculous prices. I would highly encourage the venue to drop their prices significantly. You'll sell more which means you'll make more.

Def Leoppard and Poison were great. My complaint is that they didn't use the big screen for Poison or Tesla but they did for Def Leppard. I would have loved to see each band up close while sutti g in ...the 300 level. They also need more than one T-shirt sales booth.

I agree with others about being stricter with the alcohol. So many crazy-ass people who were obviously drunk. $11.50 for a beer, that is outrageous.

Had enough marijuana smoke blown around me to almost get a contact high.

The show was good. The venue is pretty decent, there really isn't a bad seat in the center. The parking situation however was horrible. The roads in and out are just a mess, the stop lights are timed ...horribly, the streets around the center are just not built for a high volume of people. The worst tho, was after the show, being stuck in the parking garage for almost an hour waiting to get out. See More

Saw Roger Waters last night and was blown away with the experience the stadium provided! Barely any space was spared for seating or the screen set ups! Very nice stadium! However, the smoking section ...only provided a handful of exit doors and with 5,000 people wanting to go smoke a cigarette all at once, it was a cluster f*** to say the least! Still, can't wait to go to a hockey game next season!!!! See More

The music quality was a 9 out of 10. The people were great. The second half of the show was a bunch of "BS"!! I didn't go to see a bashing of the President!!! I don't believe in all of his (Waters) b...eliefs, nor would I try to push them on others. Maybe he should just push out the music not the political bs. See More

I was very impressed with the staff! I went there to see Def Leppard. Security coming in was very proficient and kept the lines moving. Staff was very friendly. The whole place was kept very well Very well planned out. Prices were a little high but not more than expected at a venue such as this. A very pleasant 5 star experience! Keep up the great work Moda Center!!! See More
