Mondovi Conservation Club 2017 Hunters Education Course - 03/01/18 - 03/20/18
This course is for students who will be 12 years of age prior to or on December 31, 2018. We will be offering Hunter Education and Bow Hunter Education both during this course.
All meetings begin at 6:30 pm sharp and finish at 8:15 pm. All meetings will be held at the Mondovi Conservation Club Building....
Hunters Ed. - March 1st, 6th, 8th, 13th, 15th with field day on Sat., March 17th - 8:00-12:00
Bow Hunters Ed. - March 10th from 9:00 - 3:00
Test Day – March 20th
Students may sign up by emailing Russ Boos at firstname.lastname@example.org with students name, birth date and DNR Customer ID # or you can go to the DNR website (http://dnr.wi.gov/education/outdoorSkills/idCheck.html#tabx3) and register on there as well. If you don’t have the DNR Customer ID # you can call the DNR at 888-936-7463 to get it. You will need the students SS# and birthdate to get DNR # when calling. The Archery League is offering youth archery workshops for youth of all ages. The workshops are a fun way to learn more about archery.
We will be holding 2 sessions for all ages this year....

Archery League Sign-up
Sign up and set up for the 2018 Archery League will be Sunday, December 31st, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Clubhouse. League fees this year will once again be $45/person. Youth shooters can shoot for free. Contact Rod Brommer, Scott Nygaard or Ben Kluge for more details. We will also be doing youth archery workshops every other Saturday.
While most lakes have 6-8 inches of ice on them, the ice is extremely unpredictable. Due to rainfall a few weeks ago ice fishermen are reporting pressure cracks... and slush around the shore.
As of last week open water was spotted on the Gile Flowage near big island.
All snowmobiles are advised to stay off the ice .
Trail closures are as follows:
Trail 15 from the Cary Mine Market south to West Branch, approx. 7 miles
Trail 8 from West Branch going West to Trail 77, approx. 4 miles
Trail 13B west of Trail 17 to Trail 13, approx. 3 miles
Trail 13S from Island Lake Rd going SE to 310 Rd, approx. 10 miles
Trail 3 to Saxon Harbor from Frontier Bar
