#ThrowbackThursday Built during the time of Slap Bracelets, Skip its, Walkmen & VHS this beautiful body was built for @AVIS better known for their car rental service vs truck leasing. Nowadays, the truck leasing business is handled by their sister company @Budget who has also been a partner of Morgan's for quite some time!

I just want to say that I work at Morgantown plant on the Reefer Line and have to say that I absolutely love my job. I started with doors moved to roof pit then front end work. Building the front ends... and installing them. I look forward to every morning getting up and going to work love the position I'm in I love the guys I work with and I love my supervisors.
Yes I have to admit some days are a little stressful but that is at any job not everything runs a hundred percent all the time there are setbacks you deal with them and you move on so for you haters out there if you have a little common sense and good work ethic then Morgan corporations for you if you don't it's not for you.
Nowadays this world has become lazy and is afraid of a little bit of hard work and hard labor we have become dependent on computers and things such as cars that Park themselves it's called pussification of America.
Morgan Corporation is probably one of the last companies that depends on their workers and hard work dedication and good work ethic to build a product made in America for Americans.

And frankly I am proud to be an employee of the Morgan Family.

Seriously the worst place to work at. The plant manager called me a stupid bitch on my second day of work. I never receive any training and I was working side assembly by myself. Then the Human Resour...ces guy was constantly asking the other people if I could actually keep up with their pace every hour on the dot. During an interview I was literally asked “did you see anyone else here that is like you?” Meaning I was the only female to show up to the hiring event. Then I was told I wasn’t “the type of person” they wanted to hire. If this doesn’t convince you to NEVER work for this horrible company listen to my friends story. He’s a painter 1 been working there two years and painted things painter 1 and 2’s do. Without being promoted and without a raise to do these things. So after months of asking if he could be promoted to painter 2 they FINALLY bring him to day shift to train. He’s been on day shift 3 weeks and has NEVER trained for the things he was supposed to be training for. Instead he was painting frames so the guy on frames could promote to painter 2 instead. And after working there 2 years without EVER having a quality issue he got fired today for a quality issue. They said it was his third write up and it wasn’t. The supervisor on nights even warned him before he went to days to train that the plant manager doesn’t like to give raises so he was going to find anyway to fire him. Seriously guys do NOT waste your time with this HORRIBLE company. See More

It is a horrible company to work for. They are very unorganized. They tell you after 90 days you are getting a raise and then turn around and say no its after a year. You will have people getting your... hopes up on advancing to different positions to make more money and then u stay in the same spot but will work you to death, having you doing 3 to 4 man's jobs getting paid for one. That's why they can't keep employees and have a fast turn around rate on employees See More

I've always liked the idea of what the company produced, which is why I sent them my drawings of the hydraulic/airbag lifting system used in some dry freight truck designs they sell today. The design ...pushed rollers up through a fixed floor, allowing freight to move freely. When you lowered the subfloor, the freight rested back on the fixed floor. Barry Curran and I corresponded, and he thought the concept and drawings had merit. So much so, that Morgan Corporation took my design and intellectual property and filed for a patent which was granted. I didn't know any better at the time, I was in my 20's working and raising 5 children. So the lesson in this is that although companies cite honesty and integrity in mission statements, employees are just human. I don't fault the company for taking the idea, but at the same time I wasn't approaching them to just give it away either. Acknowledgement might have been enough. Oh, and I'm not just saying this to say it, I still retain some drawings and letters sent and received from them during that time. You're welcome Morgan Corporation. See More

Truck doors corroding after one winter. Latches falling off, metal just peeling and falling apart. Called about fixing it, didn’t offer help or a solution. They shouldn’t even have a customer service ...department, mind as we’ll talk to a wall. Horrible product, don’t waste your time with this trash. Go somewhere else. See More

From a customer's point of view, this is a terribly run company with little, to no quality management. Just built 5 new trucks, and all of them are late. Very late. I should have stuck to my guns a...nd taken my business elsewhere as I have had problems with them in the past. Lesson learned. See More

Morgan Corp doesn't care about the workers. They just want money for their trucks and your labor. They don't listen to your concerns or needs and extend your work hours without warning and treat you l...ike they own you. Fellow employees rude and vulgar using profanity and supervisors just stand around and don't even care. I liked this company when I first started but work environment became very stressful. See More

Purchased a truck body. Less than 2 years old. Door latch falls off. Doors rotting out in back. Sheet metal pitting and corroding all over rear doors. Cheap! Cheap! Cheap!

Just read on Facebook comments made by a current Morgan employee on how he is amused at how Morgan hired him and is paying him $29/hour for doing nothing than sitting around all day. He just got out o...f Berks county prison for serving time as a habitual drug dealer and theft amongst many many arrests over many years. I guess going to college and maintaining a balanced, ethical living were bad investments on my part. See More
