Rough Mix!
I’ve been preparing a new record for next year. It’s been a beautiful, but scary process: full of certainty, but also insecurity. As I’m avoiding all my usual clichés, shortcuts and comforts, it’s becoming the record where I’ve challenged myself the most, artistically, emotionally and technically.
2019 was the year where I’ve acted on instinct, releasing music without the pressure of holding it back and waiting for a new album to be released. Next year I want to ta...ke that further, to the live show: bring this new music to the stage. These tracks created in the comfort of four walls now come to the street, to travel and get exposed to an audience.
It’s a time I look forward to, but always fear: I’m humbly exposing my “rough mix”.
During three nights I’m setting up my studio at @musicbox. Playing new music and rearranging old songs. This exploration will be open, shared with the band, guests (special and secret as usual…) and audience. Something very special happening just this time, this place, and that I can’t wait to share with you.
