i started working on this album in september. it was a lot of work. over 30 songs were written and recorded, 17 of them were chosen for the album, and 9 more were added as bonus tracks for those who decide to purchase the album on my bandca...mp.
it took much longer than expected. i ended up taking breaks to work on an electronic side project so i wouldn’t burn out. i programmed all the drums and synths myself. played all the guitar tracks. sang all the vocals. spent months tearing my hair out trying to get the mixes to sound the way i wanted it them to. this album was a difficult feat. and would be for anyone who had no choice but to do every single piece of it on their own. and i did it all in my tiny one bedroom apartment.
you’ll hear psychedelic sounds, shoegazing sounds, grunge sounds, alternative rock sounds, noisy sounds, punky sounds, experimental sounds, and everything in between. there’s a couple songs that i dug up from the archives and re-recorded, but the majority of it is all brand new material.
if you can afford to buy a digital copy of the album, please do. it took a lot of work and a lot of energy out of me to make this. also, i’m pretty broke. of course, i understand if you can’t buy it, and am appreciative if you will enjoy it! this is my best and most brilliant work so far… Meer weergeven
