The game between the M State Men and Rochester was tied at 32-32 at halftime Saturday afternoon, however, the Yellowjackets finished with an 80-64 victory over the Spartans.
Trailing 39-27 at the half, the M State lady Spartans put up a good fight in the second half as they outscored the Rochester Yellowjackets 39-33 over the final twenty minutes in a 72-66 road loss on Saturday afternoon.
McKenna Peterson, senior setter from Barnesville High School, has signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball for the Minnesota State Community and Technical College Spartans.

The M State lady Spartans made 22-of-29 free throws and dominated the boards 59-24 on Wednesday night as they handed Western Wisconsin Tech a 72-59 loss in Fergus Falls.

M State hosted Anoka-Ramsey in a Women's College Basketball game on Saturday afternoon in Fergus Falls with the Golden Rams defeating the lady Spartans 62-43. Anoka-Ramsey took control of the game by outscoring M State 20-7 in the third quarter to open up a 45-29 lead after three quarters of play.
The Anoka-Ramsey Men’s basketball team opened up a 52-32 halftime lead on Saturday afternoon at M State in Fergus Falls and went on to record a 97-69 victory over the Spartans.

The M State and Minnesota West Men’s Basketball teams battled through twelve lead changes and eight ties on Wednesday night in Worthington before the Bluejays were able to secure a 94-92 overtime victory over the Spartans.
Minnesota West took a 19-4 lead after one quarter, built it to 43-19 at the half and controlled the game from start to finish on Wednesday night as they handed the M State lady Spartans an 81-43 loss in Worthington.
The Ridgewater Warriors overcame a 40-36 halftime deficit at M State in Fergus Falls on Saturday to defeat the Spartans 85-78.
