Mount Southington is the place to be this weekend! We will be 100% open, skiing and riding on 14 trails with 7 lifts available! That means there is terrain for all ability levels including the Glacier Learning Area, our freshly shaped park on Lift Line, and CT's only machine cut halfpipe on Laurel! Our snowmaking and grooming crew will also be hard at work during the overnight hours making sure that all of our terrain is ready for you each morning this holiday weekend. The MTS Park Crew is working extremely hard to build the best park we've ever had! Due to the insane amount of snow that was made in the park sculpting features to perfection is taking a bit more time than initially planned. We are going to delay the parks opening until 3pm Thursday so the snow has an opportunity to set up. The wait will be well worth it! Friday morning the Zaugg will depart the shop for the first time this season, and we will cut the halfpipe on Laurel for a slated opening on Saturday morning. We'll be open on 100% of our terrain for the holiday weekend, so this is the place to ski or ride!

Good Morning! Mother Nature's 5" of fresh snow combined with the hard work of our snowmaking and grooming team has made the snow surface prime for your enjoyment. Today, we've added Turkey Turn to the list of open trails while the piles grow to extreme heights in Laurel and Tester in preparation for Connecticut's only machine cut halfpipe and some other terrain surprises! Our racing department woke up early this morning to set the course for the C.Y.S.L. Kombi race that we are hosting today from 8am-11am. Come on out and enjoy the day with us! #thrillsmadelocally
