I've come to Murphy's several times the last few years, but I'm leaving a review tonight because the staff were absolutely fantastic. I missed the last bus, and when I asked them to call a cab, the an...swer they got was that it would be 15-20 minutes. While I was trying to figure out what I was going to do, one of the bartenders appeared and told me that there was a Yellow Cab outside waiting for me. Because of the attentiveness of the staff, I made the last ferry home. Thank you guys for everything you do, and keep up the good work. See More

The Bloody Marys are delicious and delightfully strong. Irish poutine and wings are a go to. Delicious and filling. It’s always a good time here!

Great food. Great service. Great location. We stopped in yesterday for a beer and a bite, we were helped right away. The mixologist was able to give us details on a variety of offerings including drin...ks and food. We decided on this place because of the seating options, we didn't want to be crammed in anywhere or sit on a stool at the bar, this place had bar stools, high bar tables, regular height tables, and booths -all spaced a comfortable distance apart, which we were able to sit immediately. We ordered food that came quickly & was both fresh and delicious & were asked how the food was at the appropriate time. The value of our food and drinks for the money we spent was fantastic -we ordered the special which shockingly was only $10. The ham and mozzarella on a baguette was delicious & came with a large side of the best pub fries I've had in Seattle & a fresh dill pickle spear. We chose the rhubarb hard cider that had the perfect amount of sweet and tart. We also thought it was cool that the mixologist has an authentic Irish accent. The atmosphere and lighting is the perfect amount of dim glow and contributes to the warmth & comfort of the pub & makes it a great place to drink & eat on a rainy cold December evening in Seattle. We're really pleased we happened upon this place after some Christmas shopping in Wallingford. If you're in this neighborhood, be sure to stop by a little shop named Crackerjack-they sell a variety of locally made jewelry & other items. We will definitely be back to Murphys soon! See More

Love Murphy's Great staff Awesome food! Another reason I enjoy going to Murphy's is they allow you to bring in your furry four legged family members in to join you!

I went with my family to see The Crooked Jacks and the service was fantastic. My husband and I shared the chicken strips which he deemed to be, "Awesome" and, "not dry on the inside" my husband is ver...y picky about chicken so I found it impressive that he loved them so much. I managed to steal a bite of my mom's shepherd's pie and it was the best I have ever had. I look forward to going back and having great food and great music. See More

The food was fantastic, roomy tables, very clean place plus a super friendly staff. It's hard to find good Irish place that's a kid friendly establishment like this (until 9!) Parking is a nightmare a...s to be expected in Seattle and most of the spots behind it are marked for some sushi Resturant which we never actually saw but that's not Murphy's fault. Highly recommend eating here! See More

About the only other place we will frequent is Portage Bay Cafe, but they don't serve beer. The food is very good though not organic and quite reasonably priced. Service is always friendly and prompt.... Happy Hour is great pricing on the beer, and we enjoyed the few live music nights that we were around. But now we REALLY love the newly remodeled patio. The food is AMAZING!
We had the Lamb Chops and Shepherd's Pie.
Both plates were beautiful & delicious....
If you order a side salad, get the poppy seed dressing (just know there is a $2.00 charge to substitute it as one of your sides.)

The reason I did not give it 5 stars has nothing to do with the food or ambience. All that was perfect.

What was horrible was the service.
Our waitress was pleasant enough, the problem was we hardly ever saw her.
Thank goodness she brought us a pitcher of water and left it on the table, otherwise we would have gone thirsty all night.
She took so long to come back for the check that we opted to pay in cash.
We couldn't even find her to wave her down.
I'd give her service 2.5 stars at best.

We would definitely return for the food, but because of the service we'd want to order our meals to-go.

This place is a dream come true! Truly an Irish feel. Authentic food from Ireland and staff that should always be wearing kilts. Very friendly place. You actually think you are on vacation when you... step foot in the Wallingford pub. Great specials and fantastic brews. See More

A much better place since the revamp.....better food menu, for sure! I can't wait to see what entertainment they'll start lining up.

I had the corned beef and cabbage & potatoes. The corned beef was ...probably some of the best I've ever eaten (no fat and a hefty portion, too). Loved the brown bread, too. See More

We come into Murphys a lot for their great Happy Hour. For the first time had their Fish and Chips off their main menu tonight. They should be rated in the recent Seattle Times "Best Fish and Chips in... Seattle". Easily as good if not better than any they listed. Great vibe and service too. See More

Always live music! Excellent menu with phenomenal food. The staff is a ray of sunshine in a day in age of declining customer service. I highly recommend a visit any night of the week.
Happy Happy Birthday to the man who is the best chef this side of Ireland. We are beyond blessed.
