We are pleased to announce that the Photo Contest in each issue of MUSKIE will once again be a true contest. With the support of the MI board, we are once again... able to award PRIZES to each monthly winner, as well as a larger annual prize. Winners for each issue will be chosen by the Photo Contest Editor, and we will get input from members to help choose the annual winner.
>>> The first prize will go out to the winner of the next issue (Sept/Oct), so send your photos in to take part!
>>> We would like to use this contest as a way to help feature the sponsors of Muskies, Inc. who advertise in MUSKIE.
>>> If you’re interested in being featured as a sponsor, please contact Michael Winther via email - email@example.com or Kevin Richards via email - firstname.lastname@example.org and mention the Photo Contest!
Show season is in full swing and is the perfect cure for cabin fever! Muskies Inc., Chapter 53 President, Matt Tesarek and crew made the road trip to the Minnesota Muskie Expo! First in line for entrance and purchased way too many nice lures! Can't wait to get on the water 🎣 What lures are you excited to try this season?
Please take a minute to vote "No" on this poll asking if you support the ban on stocking Muskies in lakes.
If you are a musky fisherman and support Musky fishing please visit this Link and vote "No" on the Musky pole half way down the page on the right hand side. The... recent passing of legislation to prevent the stocking of Musky in new waters in MN is a very troublesome precedent... This decision is NOT based on science but rather good ole boy politics and a group of "Anti's" pulling a fast one to make it appear the general public is against Musky fishing. Please show your support for the expansion of our sport!
"It is with a very heavy heart that I send this to you. Jim Shannon, VP of Finance, passed away this evening from a heart attack which occurred two nights ago. ...He was taken off of life support earlier today.
Jim gave everything to muskies and Muskies., Inc. I will miss him. And we will miss him."
-Carl Phillips, MI President
