I don't know if you all live in the US but I live in Missouri and it was very warm until about a month ago. Like unseasonable warm. Typically my orchids would shoot up spikes around November and be in full bloom by now. My orchids started their shoots in late December and are still growing. No blooms yet.
So this guide is totally off but it understandable with our warm winter...
