I do feel that this is a manipulation from the President but we do have to respond to it because it is a flagrant racism It denigrates the dignity of African American people. It denigrates our communities denigrates the city of Baltimore. It denigrated people of color all over the country and we have to speak up because Donald Trump has moved And the standard of what is decent, what is acceptable in public life and among leaders and we have to fight to keep that line at the same time. We have to be mindful of what he is trying to distract us from and to really focus on the issues that we work on in places like Baltimore and the failure of this administration to actually grapple with the challenges that are faced by working class people all over this country.
