The Nigerian-Tunisian Business Forum has been declared opened today, 12th March, 2018 at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja. NACCIMA's National President, Iyalode Alaba Lawson MFR, FIoD, JP led a delegation of NACCIMA Executives and members to pay a courtesy visit to Chief Dr. Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR. This visit offered NACCIMA's representatives at the meeting the opportunity to discuss with the renown Sage areas of interest to the Association and the Organized Private Sector.A presentation was also done by NACCIMA IT/Telecommunications Trade Group during the meeting.

The NACCIMA-NIRSAL Agriculture and Agribusiness Summit will take place from 29th of November - 1st December, 2017 at the International Conference Center, Abuja.

The Summit is organised in collaboration with the Nigeria Incentive-Based Risk Sharing system for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL), the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) and the lead consultants, Kunoch Limited whose Chairman is Mr. Pascal Dozie CON. Other stakeholders include: The Bank of Ind...ustry (BOI), The Bank of Agriculture (BOA), Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC), The Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), financial sector stakeholders and foreign Embassies.

This 3-day Summit is aimed at unlocking the opportunities and potentials in the Nigerian Agricultural Sector.

There are opportunities to Exhibit agricultural products and advance the farmer's market.

The Opening Ceremony of the 2017 edition of the Lagos International Trade Fair is currently ongoing. The NACCIMA National President, Iyalode Alaba Lawson,MFR,FIoD,JP, the Minister of Industry,Trade and Investment, Dr Okechukwu Enelamah ,the President of the LCCI, Dr (Mrs.) Nike Akande,CON and other dignitaries graced the Opening Ceremony to declare the fair open.

Members had the opportunity to discuss and highlight areas of interests and concerns to them in order to bring about solution based recommendations to the economic challenges being faced.

Other dignitaries at the event include the Deputy Governor of Ogun State , Chief (Mrs) Yetunde Onanuga & Deputy Governor of Benue State, Engineer Benson Abounu.

The federal government has resolved on month-by-month inspection of Lagos-Ibadan rail project to ensure its completion in December 2018. The Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi, who inspected the Lagos-Ibadan Standard Gauge railway praised the contractors on the current pace of work.
