This page describes the preparation and planning of the project "Nanuq 2017".
Going to Greenland is already exotic, but doing this with a Microlight Aircrfat brings it to another level. And on top: I'm doing this solo, which means there is no second person on board. This is due to the regulations for Microlights (maximum weight of 472,5 kgs) and for the sake of setting a new record.

Got very sad news this week. A German team of two Microlight Pilots have achieved to be the first Solo-Flyers from Germany to Greenland (n August 2016 already).
I have heard some rumors about this since weeks, bt the evidence was brought now.
Therefore my main sponsor has rejected his engagement for this project....
So Nanuq 2017 has died today!

With no doubt, for mastering the Nanuq 2017 challenge successful, I need to have as much airtime as possible. To develop skills and to train under all expectable conditions....
The financial efforts for chartering an aircraft are quite high. As Nanuq 2017 is a non profit project, having as financial sources only my own engagement and the support of a handful of supporters and sponsors I’m seeking for support for getting the required airtime.
So I’m offering roundtrips in the Breezer B400 from the area of Munich over Munich City, the Alps, the Kings Castles or anywhere else you want to go.

Flugsicherheitstraining/Flight Safety Training
Yesterday a group of pilots from EDML and EDMY has participated in a Flight Safety Training in Strausberg close to Berlin (EDAY).
RUWE Aero has provided their FI, Microlight-Simulator and rooms for this training for FREE! Safety First ion all levels is their slogan. And hey do not only mention it, they are living it!

Back in the air.After being grounded for + 5 weeks, due to the heavy accident of the D-MMUC in Jesenwang, I could do my first flight since then with the D-MABR. One of the most beautiful designed aircrafts from Breezer.
