Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) has a long history of attacking the Second Amendment. Yet an investigation by NBC4 TV in Los Angeles indicated that the LAPD provided Sen. Harris with armed security not just while she was in the city, but on trips throughout California, all courtesy of the city’s taxpayers. A Florida organization called 4FNow (Fewer Firearms, Fewer Funerals) held a gun turn-in program this weekend. While this is an entirely voluntary operation, it will do nothing to achieve their claimed goal of keeping “kids safe from gun violence.” It has been proven time and time again that turn-in programs are widely ineffective at reducing crime.
