National Water Dance is creating an opportunity for dancers of all ages and movers of all kinds to experience the power of art and performance as a vehicle for social change by collaborating on the formation of a nationwide movement choir. Our goal is to initiate a national “water ethic” that can inform and inspire both participants and audience members to take responsibility for conserving and protecting the water that they use and enjoy.
Our next national event will take place on April 14, 2018, and will be live-streamed on the Internet. Learn more and sign up to be a part of the movement here!
National Water Dance is thrilled to announce two new collaborations for our 2018 event. We are partnering with Pedestrian Wanderlust and Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund (CELDF) to make our national impact reach even further.
Pedestrian Wanderlust is a "movement" movement of improvised dance in public spaces. Together, we will be creating spontaneous dance videos at water sites all over the country leading up to the national event on April 14, 2018.
CELDF is a pione...er in advancing rights of nature laws in the United States and around the world, for the first time establishing that nature possesses fundamental legal rights to exist, flourish, and evolve.
