I’m absolutely disgusted to learn that the Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire Department Fire Boat 217 had $13,000 worth of equipment stolen from it. Crime has gotten so bad in our area that volunteers’ fire equipment is now being targeted. We must have new leadership to fix this serious problem.
Baltimore County currently has an unemployment rate of 4.6%, which is higher than the national rate and higher than every other suburban jurisdiction around Baltimore. At a public meeting tonight the developer of 325 residential units on a tiny 13 acre lot in the heart of White Marsh announced they will seek zero open space for the development.
Fullerton Elementary School where this neighborhood is zoned to attend is already at 132% capacity. There are several failing intersections already in the White Marsh area....
Unfortunately, the out-of-control unplanned development will continue with a politically connected developer winning as our community loses. We must have a change in the politics as usual in Baltimore County.
When will this madness stop? We need to conduct a nationwide search to find a new superintendent who will restore public trust in our school system and discipline in our schools.
