Wait a minute! There aren't enough stars here! NBF deserves 10 stars! It is a life changing, mind-altering, confidence building, fitness experience that you have to have to understand completely. W...ant to lose weight? Want to get in shape? Just want to have some place to go in your new yoga pants? You know what? None of that matters! If you go to NBF, you will have the time of your life! Before you know it, you will have a smile on your face every day, all day long. You will feel like a million bucks all the time. You will accomplish more than you ever thought possible. You will be getting up at hours you thought only ended in p.m. and you will not believe the energy you have. You will have the self-confidence to sandpaper a tiger's butt in a phone booth. The best way to transform your body-top quality training, accountability, support, encouragement- it's all there. I've spoken to a few potential participants who are concerned about being the largest... one/in the worst shape. Put those concerns aside and just talk to Ray and Karen. A great trainer helps a person realize that they possess that mental toughness. I came to Ray Sutton not realizing I was tough at all. Without his bringing it out in me, I don't think I could have wit...hstood the trials life has thrown at me the last few years. When the going gets tough, whether in life or while training, I tell myself to suck it up and push through it. I am stronger than I ever dreamed I could be. Thanks Ray Sutton for nurturing that in me with your "gentle prodding" during our early morning bootcamp workouts. It's more than about getting in shape and losing weight, it is a new way of thinking and approaching every aspect in your life. Ray Sutton is more than a trainer, he is a force to be reckoned with. In August of 2011, I came to NBF at the age of 57. My highest weight had been 315 pounds and I had spent that summer using a cane to walk because my knees hurt so badly I would cry when I got home shopping or teaching school. You know the ladies in Wal-Mart who lean on the buggy and just shuffle along? That was me. I seriously wondered if I would get through the next year of teaching. I was in so much pain I would go straight to my recliner and not move until I absolutely had to. (My daughter told me later how angry she was with me for being so lazy...she didn't realize how much pain I was in.) Finally, I had enough. I knew that I was at my personal tipping point. If I didn't do SOMETHING I was going to be very sick, very quickly. My husband is a permanent resident of a nursing home - I was terrified thinking that my daughter might be "saddled" with caring for me or that I was going to be in the nursing home, too - before the age of 60. I put several things in place, but most importantly - I finally asked for help. (Ray and Tammy will both tell you this is a huge problem for me.) I started to work with a therapist, which helped me to focus on ME and MY health and I started working with Ray and NBF. I had to change the way I ate, not "until", but for good. I had to begin exercising, no matter how much it hurt, not "until", but for good. The great thing about Ray - he listens. He asks you to do "more" than YOU think you can do, not more than anyone else. Sure he yells - that's part of the fun for me! (I teach elementary school - Marines are no scarier than 3rd graders on a bad day!). The thing is, he never yells at you - he yells FOR you. In March of 2012, I ran a 5K. I feel so much better about myself and I'm willing to try things I only wished I could do. I've lost 110 pounds - but I won't tell you it's all flowers and hearts, I've regained 30 pounds because I lost focus. But, I never quit...THAT'S the difference. I know this is my path, I know there are friends and trainers who won't give up on me and who won't let me give up on myself. I teach Classroom Management at the college level...Ray is a masterful motivator and a masterful trainer. Don't wait...don't think about it. It's hard, it's frustrating, it's your future. See More

I cannot preach this enough! Just because you make a mistake and have something you know you shouldn’t does not mean you should give up! Do not use that as an excuse to eat crap for the rest of the day, week, month, etc. We all mess up. We all make mistakes! OWN it and then get back on track and do better! This journey takes time. Do not let one mistake undo all the hard work you’ve put in!

Great read today: God didn’t call us to judge others. He calls us to heal people & restore people. When we get down to lift others up, we can’t get any higher in God’s eyes. The closest thing to the heart of God is helping hurting people.

Tomorrow is a new day! Whatever happened last week, forget about it. If you made some mistakes, missed some workouts, or whatever...LEARN from it and move on. Make this next week a good one. Every single day is a new chance to work toward your goals. Everything you eat and everything you do will either help you achieve those goals or keep you from them. Make the choice NOW to make your workouts and stay on your nutrition plan! Lean on your team and your trainers for help and support! That’s what we’re here for!

This is what it’s all about people! This is in ONE years time. This is what hard word, dedication, and sacrifice will do for you. She is committed to her workouts. She doesn’t make excuses. She follows her nutrition plan and never tries to work in things she knows she can’t have. She gives 100% in every workout and gets stronger every single day. She didn’t just make a New Years resolution...she made a LIFESTYLE change! Sure, she lost weight and dropped some sizes. More importantly tho, she is HEALTHY! The same is possible for you! Stay on plan! Be strong! Create some willpower and exercise it every single day! Make your workouts and push yourself! You CAN do this!
