I went today to rhyme time and as advertised it says 20 minutes we sang 6 songs which lasted about 5 minutes I travelled to newbury and paid to park for 5 minutes worth of singing. When I do more with... my son myself at home on a daily basis. It really lacked enthusiasm, it would be better if someone that liked music and children were running it to make it last longer and have better interaction rather than a dull face singing a song they don't want to sing. Large queues while waiting to be served which is shocking!

Had to wait 10 minutes before I was served as had three other people in front of me waiting and only one counter in use....

Not enough staff for size of the building but the library it's self has a friendly atmosphere.Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

If you are in Newbury today, come in from the cold and join us for a hot drink.

When we recently asked for comments and suggestions on how to improve the library, lots of people told us they would like to be able to buy a coffee downstairs. We are now trying out a new drinks machine and for a limited period all drinks are free. Choose from cappuccino, coffee mocha, decaf, espresso, flat white, latte and macciato and tell us what you think of it.

The library will be open until 4pm as usual this afternoon (Saturday).
