I enjoy going to ComicCon every year. For the last 4 years the crowds are unbearable and I’m unable to check out the vendors. The aisles need to be wider and the vendors need to offer free stuff. Hope...fully with the new addition of the convention, they’ll be be able to expand. I also noticed that everything from a free button to a bag, you have to stand online. Everything require is a sign up of your email and badge, not really something I want to stand on line for 30 wasted minutes. There needs to be a bettter flow of lines. I did enjoy the walking in process, this was a plus, rather than wrapping around the building on a line before going inside. Keep using this method. See More

I went twice this year. Once on Thursday, on my own, and again on Sunday with my family. It was very crowded on Sunday. My children did not enjoy it that much because of how crowded it was. They cou...ld not see much and got easily irritated when fighting through a crowd.
Thursday was good for me. It was not as crowded and I was able to maneuver around the whole venue without fighting through the crowds.
The cosplay was great as was the exhibitors and the dealers. It just wish it was easier to buy from the Funko exhibit.

First time at ComicCon and overall good experience. Two things that limit the experience to 3 stars is that it was (a) overcrowded to the extent that it might’ve been a safety hazard and (b) it felt l...ike I bought a ticket to obtain the experience to purchas more merchandise. I’d recommend putting panels on at least twice during the day. Plenty of options to buy stuff, but very limited options to see panels. It would be cool to see if there was a Cosplay contest of some sort. (Maybe there as one and I missed it) See More

I had an absolutely wonderful experience. Everyone made my first comic con and cosplay experience and exceptional one. I was very surprised when my first super suit ended up being a huge hit. Surprisi...ngly I was invited to participate in the Marvel costume contest, multiple interviews and photo shoots. My experience was far better than I possibly could have imagined. Only thing now is I have to think of a better idea for my next suit since I set the bar so high to begin with. I would just like to say thank you to everyone in the crew, Reedpop, Marvel and all the cosplayers out there who made me feel so welcome. I will see you all again next year. See More

Well I have some suggestions.... maybe you guys can set up some sort of lockers where we can place our goodies that we purchase and not have to drag them around ALL DAY.

Food is ridiculous expensive.... Not only were the food trucks pricey but also in the actual food court. A yogurt was $5.15... and there was no selection of any breakfast meals... so my only choice at 10am was fried chicken strips and French fries.

Artist alley.... um yeah why the move? It was a lot better last year which was on the other end that was so spacious... this year it was all crammed into a small space.

Also I stood in line for a good 15 minutes waiting for John laguizamo and finally saw someone with a pink shirt to ask for the schedule and her response was “i don’t know” I informed her it wasn’t up in the app and she repeated “I don’t know”.

Also his year you guys had most of the power rangers yet they were scattered all over the Con. You guys should have set them up right next to each other.

Security.... ? Yeah that was a joke... I waited in line for funko pop line to be open to the public and a security guard asked us to reroute the line so we did and once he took us to where he assumed was better he saw people jump in to the line he simply said oh well and walked away and NEVER went back to get the other groups to route them to where he had moved the line.

Oh and the ticket scouters outside where insane! They would follow us on a daily asking to buy our passes from us.

For years, no matter what size or what ticketing changes, it's the atmosphere and the appreciation of the industry. Cos players are very much appreciated as well as the vendors who come every year and... deal with the organizers, visitors as well as the Javis center. This is the con in the city where comic book characters are created and the business where most comic book publishers had their offices. See More

This was a great event. They need to work on access procedures. I saw some fans were able to get access into the venue early when others could not. Need to find better ways to make there is fair acces...s for all attendees. And find ways to avoid people that get two badges, one 'fan' and one 'professional' so they can get early access to the venue and then line up for 'fan' only events. See More

I can completely agree. It was really congested when I went thursday. I went to meet Michael Rooker, but the price was okay for an autograph, like a 10 minute long talk and he gave me another signed p...icture for free. The lime for him wasnt too lomg cause it was the end of the day and there was 2 other people in line. I got a photo op too, but it felt really rushed and the line really wasn't that long. It was still a really really great day over all b/c of Michael It was pretty good for my first convention. I might even be back for next year! See More

It was my first visit to comic con and I absolutely loved it. Plenty of artists to meet and plenty of prints and comics to choose from. I really went there to pick up some cool peices of art and meet ...some new artists I've never heard of. Seeing some celebrities on the panel and even on the showroom floor(Walter from comic book men) and cool Colsplay was icing on the cake. I will definitely be going next year See More

It was a lot of fun, but I feel like I paid a lot of money to essentially go on a shopping trip. The South Park exibit was awesome and we need more entertaining exibits like this one in the future. I ...feel like a majority of my time was spent on looking at merchandise to buy. I love nerdy merchandise, but there should be something more in terms of entertainment. Paying a celebrity $300 for an autograph is not my definition of fun. See More

Con was great! I've been to every NYCC. My biggest complaint is that Arist alley moved due to construction. Downstairs was overwhelming and claustrophobic. I usually like to spend most of my time in a...rtist alley and unfortunately I couldn't do that this year with the overwhelming crowd. Also too many vendors, we need to get back to the comics and art. Uniqlo should not be at comic con. Besides that great time and great panels. See More

I went to NYCC for the first time ever back in October 2017 and it was the best time ever for me. Yes it was crowded and things there are pricey, but that’s just the fun of it. Everyone’s so nice, and... everything was very well organized. I met Mark Hamill which was great and got to also meet so many other wonderful people. Can’t wait to go again this year! See More

I LOVE NYCC! This was the second year for my fiance and I and we brought my family along, and we all had an amazing time! We stayed at one of the hotels the convention recommended and it was great. On...ce we arrived at the Javits, we had an easy time getting through security. We saw some of the same vendors from last year plus a lot of cool new ones. We've decided to make this a yearly family trip! See you next year NYCC! See More

I've been going now for at least 5 straight years and I love New York Comic Con! The only time of the year I get a chance to enjoy myself with many other nerds and nerdettes out there. Plus it's a place to be, just to enjoy the fun and activities that are going all around you and to enjoy the many wonderful cosplayers that come to this event each year. There's plenty to do and plenty to see. People have to witness Comic-Con at least once in their life, to understand why I love it so much. See More

NYCC 2017 was incredible!!! My girlfriend and I had an incredible time. We managed to plan out our time there well thanks to the website, get into the panels we wanted and get all the photo-ops and ...autographs we were interested in. Every member of the staff we interacted with was awesome weather they were a the entrances-exits or just staffed we stopped with questions. The lines were managed well and were fine for such a large event. My only complaint is artist alley was too packed but with the current construction project really could not be helped so we are not taking away a star from it. See More

I've been going to comic con for the past 8 years now and as much as I'm happy to see so many people going I also hate how overly crowded it is, every year its harder to get around. I did enjoy myself... by making the best of my time. See More

Pretty much amazing. However I have to agree with the people complaining about the large amount of people and crown at the showfloor. It is nice to meet so many people tho, I mean it is really amazing... and I had a great time!. What I will change?. NO MORE CAMP OR LINEUPS at panels, please make it pay a bit extra so we can have a secure sit. I wouldnt mind paying a bit extra for a few main panels so I dont get to miss them since I like being on the showfloor! See More

I was trying to do a killer standup special this evening but I might’ve gone too far. After the first show, I felt kinda nauseous. I threw up a little but it di...dn’t seem to help. Then I started sweating buckets and my chest felt heavy. Turns out I had a massive heart attack. The Doctor who saved my life at the #glendale hospital told me I had 100% blockage of my LAD artery (also known as “the Widow-Maker” because when it goes, you’re a goner). If I hadn’t canceled the second show to go to the hospital, the Doc said I would’ve died tonight. For now, I’m still above ground! But this is what I learned about myself during this crisis: death was always the thing I was most terrified of in life. When the time came, I never imagined I’d ever be able to die with dignity - I assumed I’d die screaming, like my Dad (who lost his life to a massive heart attack). But even as they cut into my groin to slip a stent into the lethal Widow-Maker, I was filled with a sense of calm. I’ve had a great life: loved by parents who raised me to become the individual I am. I’ve had a weird, wonderful career in all sorts of media, amazing friends, the best wife in the world and an incredible daughter who made me a Dad. But as I stared into the infinite, I realized I was relatively content. Yes, I’d miss life as it moved on without me - and I was bummed we weren’t gonna get to make #jayandsilentbobreboot before I shuffled loose the mortal coil. But generally speaking, I was okay with the end, if this was gonna be it. I’ve gotten to do so many cool things and I’ve had so many adventures - how could I be shitty about finally paying the tab. But the good folks at the Glendale hospital had other plans and the expertise to mend me. Total strangers saved my life tonight (as well as my friends @jordanmonsanto & @iamemilydawn, who called the ambulance). This is all a part of my mythology now and I’m sure I’ll be facing some lifestyle changes (maybe it’s time to go Vegan). But the point of this post is to tell you that I faced my greatest fear tonight... and it wasn’t as bad as I’ve always imagined it’d be. I don’t want my life to end but if it ends, I can’t complain. It was such a gift. #KevinSmith
