Food was great, Excellent Service.. My food was fantastic.
. I got a free dessert because it was my birthday , that was awesome. I’d definitely recommend this place.
Met a friend there for happy hour. The happy hour specials are great because they allow you to try smaller portions of things. We had deviled eggs, fried chicken skins, mussels, roasted oysters, and B...russels sprouts. All good, roasted oysters are best because you get 3 for HH and you can get them any style (they have different toppings/
flavors) so we got 3 Thai, 3 Nawlins, 3 Rockefelle r and 3 Casino. (Nawlins is best!)

and service great! Bloody Mary's great! Mimosas were served in glasses that were literally 3 swallows. The food was a bit pricey and nothing on the menu jumped out at me as a meal I ...had to try. Probably why there were only three tables filled at 1:00 on Saturday for brunch!
This is one of the best places I've ever eaten at!!! Service is awesome too!
Awesome food. Super nice staff. Perfect paired drinks. Will definitely
.. I was on business in the area and I sat at the bar... I asked about raw oysters... Was given a menu explaining where they were from and had some "old salts"... Afterwards I had some ...delicious fries with an perfect soft shell crab sandwich.. .. Considerin g I loathe almost everything about Maryland, like I'm not kidding, I hate everything about Maryland, it's cool to find a place like this... I wish I could remember the bartenders name, bigger dude with dark hair and a beard... 5 star service. I do business a lot in the hole
Known as Baltimore,
luckily I found a bright spot and I'll be back. Thanks!

Great service every time and always an interestin
g menu. There are menu items that are consistent , like the deviled eggs with bacon jam, that are always delicious, as well as new items that are season...al. The wine, beer, cocktail and dessert menus are also excellent. It is neighborho od gem, but also worth the trip!
Had a wonderful meal during restaurant
week. All 5 of us absolutely loved everything ! The Bronzino was delicious. Their brussel sprouts are amazing! Key lime pie is a must! Others loved the French on...ion soup, oysters Rockefelle r, and the Smith Island cake. Service was fabulous! They also have a great happy hour with delicious food and drinks at great prices! Definitely going back!

Second time coming here and worth it! Chef Cory Paster really knows his flavored and pairings! I'm in love- I did not know what to order so I got General Tso duck wings, local tomato, corn and peac...h salad, tuna crudo, buffalo roasted Brussel sprouts, Mexican street corn and pork belly! I may need another stomach but this one is happy!!!!
This was my first visit to the Nickel Taphouse and I must say it was wonderful.
The food and drinks were delicious. The service was excellent as well and the servers recommenda tion for the Thai Fish a...nd Chips was spot on. I will definitely be recommendi ng this restaurant to my family and friends. I will definitely be back again.
My husband and I went here on Valentine'
s Day and loved it! It was our second time here and we decided to order appetizers and dessert this time. The food was delicious and they have wine from Healdsb...urg,CA where my husband and I went on our honeymoon which makes it even more special! Both times we had LeAnn as our waitress and she is outstandin g!!!! She is so attentive and gives wonderful food and drink suggestion s. The staff works together so you are never left in need for anything. They play great music which is appropriat e for the crowd...my husband and I enjoyed reminiscin g with the songs:) I would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back!
The most needlessly
pretentiou s place I've ever been to. It's as if someone who watches a lot of cooking shows but doesn't cook was given all these amazing ingredient s and didn't know what to do with ...them. The menu doesn't give you any indication of how big the portion sizes are and the bartender had a "here's your food now get the fuck out" attitude. Speaking of the bartender, he spent most of the time we were there ignoring patrons and messing around with his coworkers that were off shift and drinking at the bar. At least when I go to a shitty bar I go in expecting shitty food and shitty service.
