A little bit about me, and my motivation to stand as an independent.
Please don't give me a hard time 😃 I'm not accustomed to talking to a camera (as will become clear) and I've a new found respect for our nation of young YouTubers who can apparently talk for a whole hour on the subject of lipstick!!

At Friday evenings Hustings I was asked if a vote for an independent is a wasted vote..
Well, nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, voting for a mainstream party is arguably worse. Rother Valley has one seat, one vote in the Commons for it's 90,000 residents. Do you want that vote to be made in line with party whips? Even if it means that HS2 will raze through our area, or that fracking will go ahead in Woodsetts and Harthill?
Or do you want someone who will only vote with Rother Valley as the most important consideration?
This is your chance to Put Rother Valley First..
