Hmmm......that moment when our long-standing behaviour of "keeping the peace" by remaining silent and refraining from speaking and defending the Truth in word and deed, turns around to hunt us.
Yes, that moment when our long-kept fear of confronting evil in the face due to human respect, begins to catch up with us...results?....... hmm.....
Hmmmm......Indeed, in the moment when the false hopes, wrong philosophies and the non-Catholic cultural traditions we have entertained in order not to face the challenges of true Christian living, can no longer hold water....hmmmm
Certainly, in the that moment when the reality dawns on us that we have longed been warned of our careless slumber in the Faith, while our enemies took over, luring us sheepishly into their modernist ideologies, schisms and heresies.
True, that moment when authentic Faith, much labored and suffered for and brought right to our doorsteps and spoon-fed us at the table of our conscience, hit us.
Well, I hope while we were quiet, we were praying; and we still are because, Holy Mother Church could certainly do with more prayers now than, perhaps, ever before. For in the spirit, what looms ahead cannot be paralleled with Ebola. And at this point, ONLY PRAYER alone can intervene.
Indeed, pray much for Pope Francis- his papacy, and his soul.
Pray much for our Prelates- Bishops and Cardinals.
Because the good news is our merciful Lord's chastisement can always be mitigated or completely averted IF ONLY we return to Him and worship Him IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH.
