Great place. Really down to earth people. You would expect some places famous is that is to be kind of stuck up it was completely the opposite. I met Norm I met his kids and his family and they me as if I was one of Their own. All the good stuff is in the back so don’t expect to walk in and see a half $1 million guitar but they’re around. Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing yourself a hat or a sweet guitar. See More

I haven’t been to this shop. But I am happy to see how polite and positive Norm is. He appears to treat any customer the same: rich or poor, young or old, professional or amateur. And his dedication t...o helping the homeless is contagious and encouraging. I think Norm lives a life all fans and customers can truly admire and appreciate. You appear to live out the highest compliments any man should want to receive and you do it with humility. Thank you for being a role model, Norm. Keep being you, sir. See More

Stopped in to have a look. It was like I walked into guitar heaven. I walked around, pulling guitars off the wall and playing them at will. No pressure at all. Finally found what I was looking for, a ...Duesenberg Starplayer Mike Campbell Ltd. Edition. Norman himself made me a deal I couldn't resist. Great people, good time. See More

Great business! Despite having a rock star clientele, the entire staff is very warm & friendly, even to the average Joe. These guys wear their passion for their inventory on their sleeves and their en...thusiasm is as contagious as good hook.
The store manager, Mark, was very nice & cool as hair (even though he doesn't have any). You guys rock! Keep it up!

Great shop! Drove to LA from Iowa and other than seeing my sister, checking out this shop was the biggest thing I wanted to do. The folks there are nice and very helpful!

Very cool legendary shop. I was in the area. Decided to check off a bucket list item. Although a decent size, it was not as grand as I expected. Obviously lots of vintage and recent used guitars. Fender, Gibson, Martin, and PRS. I'm sure the very rare pieces are in the back.

When I entered no one said hi or asked if I wanted to see anything. In most cases I would just turn around and left. However, for this shop I'm sure they pegged me as the typical daily sightseer when I walked in. I wasn't offended.

Norm was busy selling a vintage tele custom to a customer. He's quite the personality and salesman.

I did the brows, strummed a custom shop tele, noticed there's probably plenty of room for negotiating on the prices, bought a classic Norm's tee, and checked another item off my bucket list.

If your looking for a cool vintage guitar and you have the cash, this is the place. If your looking for the latest shredder, effects, accessories...not here. Definitely worth seeing.

Hey they do a good job. Mark dosen't care what anyone else thinks, but sometimes You can make a cheap guitar sound very good with a good amp.

I can't speak highly enough of Mark and Norm. They went out of their way to help us when we visited the store with our Son on a recent trip to the US from Australia. Good genuine people!

I went to Norman's for the first time yesterday, and it lived up to what I hoped it'd be. There are vintage and new guitars and lots of quirky ones that dazzle the eyes.

All the employees were helpf...ul and polite, no complaints there. I bought a t-shirt and strings for my niece's guitar, and Norman rang us up. Mark, the general manager, was running around helping folks and all were having a good time.

I would recommend this store to anyone buying (or just looking) a guitar.
