Please Help - Unidentified Woman
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office needs help identifying this unknown person. She was found walking in the Albany, OR area near NE Knox Butte Road and Harber Drive on 05-15-12. She states her name is Katie Walker, but could not provide her date of birth. She also stated that she had traveled from the state of Maine. She had no identification with her when she was found.
She is also not cooperative, and is not able to assist us in finding out who she is or who her family might be. She is approximately 50 to 70 years of age, has blue eyes and shoulder length white hair. She is approximately 5’2” and 153 pounds. She was wearing a purple knee-length rain jacket, and black skirt with floral print, and brown shoes. She is believed to also have carried with her a black tote/bag.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed she arrived in Spokane, WA at 11:15AM on 05/13/12, aboard a west-bound bus, and immediately boarded a Greyhound bus bound for Portland, OR, arriving on 05/13/12 at 6:10PM.
She has also provided some other information, and medical history information, including the following:
She states she had a history of rheumatic fever, and tuberculosis
Was treated by a “Dr. Trudeau”
May possibly be from, or visited the Fort Kent, Maine area
Had a thyroid adenoma removed in 1969 (resulting in a 10cm scar, center, above the clavicle)
Left foot linear scar from a bunionectomy

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office, working with Greyhound Lines, Inc, have determined that the woman boarded a Greyhound bus originating out of Chicago, IL on 05/11/12, traveling through Spokane, WA and Portland, OR, arriving into Albany, OR on 05/13/12. During all of her ticketed travel the reservations were purchased with cash, in the name of Kelly Somerson. No reservations were found under the name Katie Walker.
Fingerprints of our unidentified woman have been compared against all fingerprints within NCIC in the United States, as well as the RCMP database in Canada. There have been no matches.
We continue to seek the public’s assistance in identifying this woman, and reuniting her with family and friends.
