In the last part of this week’s edition of “Featured Podcasters”, the four parenting writers of “Parenting Roundabout” - Terri Mauro, Catherine Holecko, Amanda Morin, and Nicole Eredics talk about their other favorite podcast shows.
5. What podcast that you listen to you think would surprise your listeners?
TERRI: Maybe it would be surprising that I don’t listen to any parenting podcasts? Or really, anything serious and newsy? I listen to a ton of podcasts, but entertainment-related only. I am still mourning Firewall and Iceberg.
CATHERINE: Terri got me hooked on Extra Hot Great, which is a very smart and funny show about television. I really don’t watch that much television!
NICOLE: I’m not a big podcast listener, although I would love to be. When I do, I like to learn about fun facts, how things work, and trivia so I listen to the Stuff You Should Know podcast. Where else can one learn about fleas, the FDA, how a slinky works and cult deprogramming all in one place?
