On Thursday, May 26 in Kiev (Ukraine), was held Ukrainе-wide educational project about sexuality in public talk format — SEX.Prostir. The acronym SEX coded three meanings: Science, Education, eXperience. The mission of the project is to improve the sex education of society. The organizers have chosen a meaningful slogan for it — "More knowledge, less shame!". Photo report available here. The event program consisted of two parts: 1) Educational program. 1. Maxim Yakovlev, "Erotica VS Pornography". According to the scientist, he joined the project "to show that we can talk about sex not only in a whisper, blushing from embarrassment accompanied by giggles of interlocutors — on the contrary, sex can be discussed, comprehended, learned. Everything is much more complex and multifaceted, and all this is necessary to explore". 2. Alexander Kolyada, "Gene of sex. The evolution and physiology of love". One of the most famous geneticists of Ukraine stressed that SEX.Prostir gave the opportunity "to show the natural component of sex and relationships — the foundation, which is absolutely devoid of cultural layers. I definitely know one way to live life in a harmony with your body and brain — that is to understand how they work, what we really feel, and why we act this way". 3. Elena Gopchuk, "Physiology of orgasm". Professional obstetrician said that speaking in front of the large audience of the first conference on sex education became a joyful victory. “This is the way to obtain the necessary, and, alas, long forbidden for us, pleasure of knowing, speaking and freely enjoying our bodies, thoughts, desires, and hence life”. 4. Eugenia Chernobay, "Culture of mature sexual relations: not only in bed". As someone who has been developing sexual culture in Ukraine for more than 10 years, Eugenia said that she became an organizer and speaker of SEX.Prostir because she wants "our nation to learn how to enjoy sexual relations, and not only in bed, but before and after having sex".

In between lectures, the participants enjoyed the performance of the singer and teacher at a vocal school of different singing genres Irina Romanova, and the other sensual singer Yana Soule, who participated in the show "X Factor" and "The voice of Ukraine". The conference was moderated by showmen and actors, members of popular shows "Impossible", "I am a hero" and "Make Me Laugh" - Girich brothers. 2) eXperience program at the after party. After the lectures, the conference participants were invited to the ONE LOVE coffee for after party, where they had an opportunity to talk with the speakers, organizers and like-minded people in an easy and relaxed atmosphere.The participants were presented a lecture on sex toys, in which the creator of the "First sex shop" Taras Krupa spoke about the importance of various inventions in the field of sex industry for improving relations in a couple.The highlight of the party was a creative design catwalk from the lingerie brand Bake Love by Lisa Kisterovaya and leather accessories from the brand MOY SLADKIY FETISH by Alla Maslennikova. Incidental music was provided by DJ duo MaxFree & Shimansky. According to the organizers the mere fact that more than 350 people attended the event live and another 150 joined it on-line, proves that SEX.Prostir was the first project where speakers and listeners did not hesitate to discuss the issues which were really interesting and relevant. "We were able to raise the topic of human sexuality to a new level — open, comprehensive, scientific", - concluded Andriy Yaroshenko, sex evangelist and the project organizer. The date of the next conference was already announced — SEX.Prostir #2 will be held on 23rd of September 2016. Conference Speakers: Maxim Yakovlev — Doctor of Political Sciences, Associate Professor of political science at the National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy", teaches in five departments, awarded by alumni fund in 2009 for the best English-language course, teacher of the year 2012. Alexander Kolyada — geneticist, specialist in human genetics, co-founder of the American company Titanovo, TEDx speaker, popularizer of science. Gopchuk Elena — Master of Medicine, PhD, member of the Ukrainian Society of Perinatal Medicine and the Ukrainian Society of Reproductive Medicine, author and co-author of over 10 scientific papers, author of four and co-author of two utility model patents, chief expert at the Department of Medicine "Ukrpatent". Eugenia Chernobay — psychologist, co-director of the educational and training center "CULTURE OF SEX”, has been providing trainings for sexuality development for more than 10 years, author and organizer of the annual festival EROTIC DANCE FEST, yoga instructor, supporter and promoter of the idea of sexual education of the nation.
