We're finishing up the year with an all nighter from resident and co-founder Percy Main.
He's warmed up every notsosilent bounce in Edinburgh (and many in Glasgow and London) for the last 4 years, curated the parties, and recently embarked on a label Lionoil Industries.
He's played alongside Joy Orbison, Funkinevil, Leon Vynehall, Roman Flügel, Harvey Sutherland, John Heckle, Prosumer, The Black Madonna, Rick Wade, DJ Sprinkles, Move D, SESSION VICTIM, Max Graef (to name a r...andom selection) but very rarely after 1am at our parties and it's a first all nighter for him at Sneaks on a weekend, so this is seems a fitting send-off for 2016.
Come dance as if the end is near...

Tickets going fast already, don't miss! >> bit.ly/notsoapron
It has became tradition to invite back some of our most memorable guests and this man of many names graced the capital just over three years ago.
Whether it's Gerd, Geeeman, NY Stomp, Literon or one of his many monikers, Gert-Jan Bijl is the very definition eclecticism.
The 4lux boss has enjoyed output on revered labels from Clone to Royal Oak frequently collaborating with fan favourite Alden Tyrell among others. Whatever the alias, the delivery always leaves a particularly ...sweet taste in the mouth.
Part II of the celebrations continue at Sneaky Pete's:
Notsosilent 4th Birthday with Funkineven
Happy Birthday indeed!
For the Edinburgh leg of our 4th Birthday, we’re super stoked to finally invite up an absolute favourite past guest, Steven Julien / Funkineven to Sneakys for his debut in the capital!
I expect no introduction is needed for most, but for those who aren’t aware Stevie is a talent who bridges Alexander Nut and Floating Points’ Eglo Records and Kyle Hall's Wild Oats with his unique brand of raw analog wave/techno/funk. His label Apron Records has pulled together likeminded maker...s of wonky machine music such as Seven Davis Jr, Greg Beato, Brassfoot and Delroy Edwards. From sample laden MPC jams like “Dreams” to the all-out-evil machine funk of “Dracula”, his sound is unique and instantly recognisable.
Hinting at a name change in a couple of Apron 12”s, this summer he completed the transformation through the release of his outstanding debut album, “Fallen”. Without doubt one of the best LPs of 2016, and a real development of an unwaveringly brilliant sound over the years.
This is a pretty rare intimate party for Steven, and with the recent album it couldn’t be better timed to celebrate 4 years of notsosilent in the capital.
Bring on the party hats
Go grab a ticket at bit.ly/notsoapron (going by the last 3 years this is likely to sell out pretty fast, so don't miss!)
We haven't had a residents party at Sneakys for a couple of years, so we thought it about time to ammend that...
A cross-caledonian conference of the folks behind the parties, straddling the usual borderless melting pot of highly danceable sounds. Ye-o.
Representing Edinburgh is Percy Main (artist formerly known as Belch), founding member of the notsosilent clan and more recently of Lionoil Industries label, freshly returned from Kelburn and ready to get to it. In the Wester...n corner, we have Mullen, longtime Glasgow representative, key member of the Angles Glasgow mandem and all round party vibeman, alongside Ray Philp, record afficionado who writes articles for RA and RBMA whilst doing the damage on the warmup (and the door) at our La Cheetah and London parties. (All accurately depicted above, from left to right).
