Our boy Mitch.. both a possible contender for Newtown's Next Top Model and a superstar behind the bar. With only a few weeks to go until the NSC closes it's doors, we asked the man, the Mitch, the legend about what he'll miss most.

He says: "To the cauliflower salads, the late night Cat Stevens next door, to my work colleges, the locals, my best friends. To my own album launch upstairs, the public affairs, the ups and downs of the music industry. To the sold out shows, the poor tickets sales, the great shows. To playing Toto's 'Africa' three times in one night, to discovering your new favourite band. To the sweet frothy one of a fresh keg, to that ever so sweet frothy last drop I will have upon closing the doors. There's just nothing I won't miss about Newtown Social Club." 😢💔

‘NSC has been many things to many people. A champion of local music, a mate behind a bar, a safe keeper of Newtown’s weird and wonderful and for the crew, a second family and a job that blurred the lines of where work stops and home begins. It’s a very sad goodbye for us all.’
