Amazing Onsen getaway. Great customer service. I was lucky that this Onsen had a few English speakers who were extremely helpful. The Onsens were quiet and not too crowded. Buffet was oishi as well.

If you go in the winter, it's lovely to use the outdoor bath (rotemburo) with the snow lightly falling around.

Fare il bagno in una vasca termale all'aperto in mezzo alla neve ( a maggio) in un luogo che sembra uscito da una litografia giapponese o da un manga.

田沢湖駅から妙乃湯までの道中にて。
麓の桜は終わってしまいましたが、標高の高い乳頭温泉までの道のりは、まだ桜が楽しめますよ。残雪残る山々をバックに、田沢湖を見下ろす最高のロケーションです。
On the way to Taenoyu from JR Tazawako stataion. You can enjoy Sakura cherry blossoms and snow on the same time!

角館の桜も、見頃が続いております。
残雪の乳頭温泉、田沢湖、刺巻の水芭蕉、角館の桜と、秋田の春をお楽しみください！
Still good condition for Sakura cherry blossam viewing at Kakunodate. - located Kakunodate, next Shinkansen station from Tazawako station.

角館武家屋敷通りのシダレザクラは、少し葉っぱが見えるようになってきましたがまだ楽しめるようです！武家屋敷通り周辺の小道や裏道も桜が綺麗に咲いていますので、ぜひまんべんなく角館の桜をご堪能くださいね!(^^)!
